Today, see how to reset the airbag warning light on a Nissan Micra K12 model. The airbag light comes on when the safety system malfunctions or after disconnecting and reconnecting the battery. In both cases, before proceeding with the reset, it is advisable to check the connectors and the system fuse. To reset the light, insert the key into the ignition switch and start and stop the vehicle three times in a row while pressing the brake pedal. Once completed, the light should be reset; if not, proceed to check the vehicle using a diagnostic computer and OBD port. A malfunctioning airbag can pose risks during a road accident.
