What are skid plates? They are underbody protections made of steel or aluminium that mount under the engine and the rear differential. For installation, clean the surfaces well, then for the front part, centre the plate, mark the points to drill the bumper (usually 4 to 6 holes), and drill with utmost caution. Secure with bolts and nuts using reinforcement washers. For the rear part, support the plate with temporary supports, then align the plate with the existing holes (use the original holes of the brackets) and drill only where necessary. Apply silicone in critical points to seal and prevent vibrations, then secure with bolts.
