Rear Brake Pad Replacement

Model: Nissan Qashqai J10 - Years 2006-2014

Lift the vehicle on a hydraulic lift and remove the rear wheels; then unscrew the retaining pins of the brake caliper: simply unscrew the lower pin and lift the caliper using the upper one as a hinge. Remove the old pads and insert the new ones; retract the caliper piston using a C-clamp or by levering with a screwdriver between the disc and the caliper. Refit the caliper and pump the brake pedal until it offers the correct resistance; be cautious during the first braking.
