Replacing the Auxiliary Belt of the Nissan Micra

In this video, we will look at the main instructions for removing and replacing the auxiliary or alternator belt of the Nissan Micra. First, open the bonnet and start by unscrewing the screws of the engine mount to remove it; lift the engine from below with a jack. At this point, unscrew the alternator screws to slightly move it for access to the belt; then unscrew the pulley nut using a 17 mm spanner to remove the serpentine belt, as illustrated in the video. Then reassemble everything, applying the reverse procedure!
