Replacing Rear Discs and Pads

Model: Nissan Murano MK 1, Z50 - Years 2003-2008

Once the vehicle is raised on suitable axle stands and the rear wheel is removed, proceed to detach the brake caliper from its support and then the support itself. Extract the disc from the hub (a few taps with a hammer may be necessary to free it); clean the disc seat on the hub thoroughly (brush and apply grease to prevent oxidation); position the new disc, the brake caliper support, the new pads, and finally the caliper itself after retracting the piston using a C-clamp.
