Replacing the Air Flow Meter

Model: Nissan Almera N16, MK 2 - Years 2000-2008

If there are starting problems with the engine and its RPM is irregular, with performance significantly below average, the issue likely lies with the air flow meter; additionally, if the engine warning light remains on, you can check the fault memory to see the stored fault code: in this case, the anomaly refers specifically to the air flow meter; this sensor is located just below the air filter housing and is secured with three screws: disconnect the connector, unscrew the fixing screws, remove the sensor from its housing, and install the new one by tightening the fixing screws and reconnecting the connector; clear the fault memory and ensure that the engine warning light remains off.
