Learn how to change the cabin air filter (also known as the pollen filter) on a Nissan Micra. Access is required beneath the glove compartment.

In a rather awkward position, you will find a small rectangular compartment, where, from the narrowest part of the rectangle, you can pull out the paper pollen filter. This filter, complete with its handle, can be found for £10.99 on eBay, including shipping.

Let's see how to reinsert it into its housing, which we will have cleaned with a blast of compressed air beforehand. Remember that the arrows must point downwards.

You can then close the cover. The job is complete.
