How to Replace the Timing Belt on a Nissan Almera

In this video tutorial, you can see how to replace the timing belt on a Nissan Almera 1.5 DCI. You will need a kit with water pump model CT1035 WP2 and specific tools (TOOL BOX V02). Remove the engine mount, the timing belt cover, and the crankshaft pulley. Regarding the crankshaft pulley, reattach it immediately after with the bolt and spacer, so the engine can rotate. For timing, there are two markings; at about eight o'clock, there is a pin to insert, while on the oil filter side, there is a small screw to unscrew to insert a stop (a pin). For the top dead centre adjustment, slowly rotate the engine until just before top dead centre; first, screw in the tool for the crankshaft and then turn the crankshaft until the tool is in place; now you can insert the second pin at the top. The engine and timing are now set.
