Replacing the Air Filter in a Nissan Qashqai

To maintain the efficiency of the engine and keep fuel consumption low in the Nissan Qashqai, it is good practice to replace the air filter at the intervals specified in the manufacturer's maintenance schedule. To do this, open the bonnet of the engine compartment; you will find the filter on the driver's side, next to the battery. Release the metal clips that secure the cover and remove the drawer containing the old filter. Replace it with a new filter element and before inserting it back into the box, clean the inside with a vacuum cleaner. Once everything is back in its place, secure the cover with the clips.
