Resetting the Service Light on the Nissan Qashqai

Once you have replaced the engine oil in your Nissan Qashqai, you need to reset the system that alerts you to the need for service. Sit in the driver's seat and turn on the instrument cluster, press the button next to the speedometer, in the centre of the instrument panel.

Rotate to the right to select "maintenance" on the central display, press to confirm, then select "service" followed by "reset", confirming each time by pressing, and return to the main menu. Turn off the ignition, and upon the next start, you will see confirmation of the reset.
