On the Nissan Altima, the fuses are contained within the designated fuse boxes present in the vehicle: there are two, one inside the cabin and one in the engine compartment. The first is located in the lower left dashboard area near the steering column: this contains the fuses for the courtesy lights, horn, air conditioning, etc. The second box is located on the right side of the engine compartment and contains the fuses for the headlights, alternator, etc.
