How to open the front engine hood of a Nissan Qashqai?

To open the front hood of a Nissan Qashqai, you must first locate the release lever inside the cabin. This lever is usually found at the bottom of the dashboard, near the driver's seat or on the side of the brake pedal. Once you have found the lever, pull it towards you with some force. This will activate the hood release mechanism from inside the car. After pulling the lever, exit the car and gently push up the front edge of the hood. This should further unlock the hood and allow you to lift it completely. Make sure to keep the hood lifted in the open position using the hood support, if present, to prevent it from accidentally closing. Once you have completed your work under the hood, make sure to lower it gently and securely close it.
