How to Remove the Cooling Radiator on an Opel Astra

This video demonstrates how to remove the cooling radiator on an Opel Astra. Open the engine bonnet, using a suitable socket wrench, remove the plates that secure the radiator at the top, then lift the car on a column lift and loosen the clamp on the water hose. Disconnect the various hoses of the cooling system using pliers. Once free from screws and hoses, you can extract the fan assembly and then the radiator from the engine compartment. Prepare to install the new part in the engine compartment: fit the cooling fans, clamps, pins, and various hoses. Refit the radiator mounting brackets with their plates. Tighten the plastics and front grille securely with a socket wrench.
