In this tutorial, we will see how to replace the auxiliary belt on an Opel Astra, a very simple and quick operation. First, ensure the engine is cool enough to work safely, then open the bonnet, locate the tensioner, and using a long 15mm socket wrench, loosen the tension. Next, insert an Allen key into the indicated hole to hold everything in position, and remove the old belt. At this point, simply position the replacement belt following the correct routing and remove the Allen key.
