How do you remove the fuel pump on an Opel Vectra? Start by disconnecting the battery cables, then remove the rear seat cushions from the cabin. Use a socket wrench to unscrew the securing screws of the metal cap (if present), remove it from its seat, and cover the perimeter with absorbent paper to soak up any fluid leaks. Unscrew the fuel pump clamp (if present), disconnect the power connectors and the liquid circulation hoses. Extract the floating fuel pump from its seat along with any attached parts. Finally, refit a new part.
