Let’s look at the layout of the fuse boxes in the Opel Astra J: the main electrical distribution box is located in the engine compartment, on the left side. To open the box, release the cover and fold it until it stops, then remove the cover vertically upwards. In left-hand drive vehicles, the cabin fuse box is located behind the driver's glove compartment, which is on the left side of the steering wheel. The compartment opens and must be pushed to the left to unlock it. Then fold the compartment to remove it. In right-hand drive vehicles, the box is located inside the glove compartment. A third box is found in the boot, above the left wheel arch, behind a cover secured with two clips.
