Removing the Radio from Opel Insignia

Is the radio not working on your Opel Insignia? Here’s how to remove it. Use a plastic lever to detach the trim panels on both sides of the stereo from the centre console. Remove the ashtray located beneath the radio (disconnect the power supply).

Once the stereo is free from constraints, use a screwdriver to unscrew the securing screws located on either side. Pull off the entire front section of the console with your hands and disconnect the cables (for power and the antenna).

After removing the console, take out the back of the radio.

To remove the rear seat of a Hyundai Tucson, follow these steps. Start by moving the front seats to their most forward position to gain space. Next, locate the release lever on the underside of the rear seat, near the floor. Press this lever down while pulling the seat upwards to unlock it from the anchor pins. Once unlocked, tilt the seat upwards and forwards to remove it from its position. Repeat this process for both sides of the rear seat.
