In this tutorial, learn how to remove and replace the timing chain on an Opel Corsa D 1.2 or 1.4 Ecotec. First, open the bonnet of your car and remove the battery by unscrewing the terminal screws; then remove the air filter box by disconnecting it from the intake hose, and remove the water pump hose.

At this point, unscrew the injector screws and remove the oil cap; take off the cylinder head cover to access the chain. Lift the vehicle and remove the right front wheel, then unscrew the crankshaft bolt to apply the lock; all that’s left is to remove and replace the chain, as shown in the video!
