Replacing Timing Chain on Opel Corsa D 1.2 - 1.4 Ecotec

In this tutorial, learn how to remove and replace the timing chain on an Opel Corsa D 1.2 or 1.4 Ecotec. First, open the bonnet of your car and remove the battery by unscrewing the terminal screws; then remove the air filter box by disconnecting it from the intake hose, and remove the water pump hose. At this point, unscrew the injector screws and remove the oil cap; take off the cylinder head cover to access the chain. Lift the vehicle and remove the right front wheel, then unscrew the crankshaft bolt to apply the lock; all that’s left is to remove and replace the chain, as shown in the video!

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?

To check the oil level on a Jeep Renegade, you need to open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: on the lower left side of the engine block, you will find the dipstick for checking the level. This should be pulled out and thoroughly cleaned with a cloth: once cleaned, reinsert it back into its tube and pull it out immediately after. This way, you can check that the oil mark is between the minimum and maximum levels; finally, you can place the dipstick back in its tube.
