Removing the Alternator from an Opel Meriva A Ecotec

In this video tutorial, you will learn how to remove and replace the starter motor on an Opel Meriva A Ecotec, first series. First, open the bonnet and disconnect and remove the air filter box by taking off the intake hose and unscrewing the cover screw; once the filter box is removed, you will access the alternator, which is located just underneath. At this point, disconnect the negative terminal of the battery and start by removing the alternator mounting bolts; all that is left is to remove the V-belt to take it out, following the video until the end!
