Replace the Coolant Reservoir on an Opel Astra

How to remove the coolant reservoir from an Opel Astra? Let's look at the disassembly of the reservoir. Open the car door and pull up the engine compartment release lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard, then lift the front bonnet and secure it. Locate the coolant reservoir inside the engine compartment, disconnect the hose from underneath the reservoir, and empty the reservoir of the existing fluid. Using a socket or screwdriver, undo the securing bolts of the reservoir, and disconnect the circulation hoses. Fit a new reservoir with the attached hoses or refit the old one after a thorough cleaning.
