How to replace the coolant reservoir on an Astra? Here’s how to dismantle it. Open the car door and pull up the engine compartment release lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard, then lift the front bonnet and secure it. Empty the reservoir of the existing liquid or do it later. Unscrew the fastening screws on the side of the reservoir, disconnect the circulation hoses from the reservoir. Fit a new reservoir with the associated hoses and pins, and top up the new coolant in the cooling system. Close the front bonnet and test the operation of the new reservoir.
