Oil and Oil Filter Change on Opel Astra H

Model: Vauxhall Astra Astra H - Years 2004-2010

Lift the vehicle and remove the T45 Torx screw underneath the engine bay to free the oil drain hole, collecting the oil in a container (dispose of it properly at recycling centres). Using a socket and a 24 mm insert, unscrew the oil filter housing from above and replace the filter by pulling it out of its seat (use absorbent paper or rags during the process and remember to replace the O-ring, lubricating the new one before installation). Refill with the same amount of oil that drained from the upper hole in the engine bay.
