Today we will see in this guide the main steps to disassemble and replace the timing belt on the Opel Astra H 1.9 CDTI, following the instructions below. First of all we go to lift the motor from the lower part; then we open the engine hood and disassemble the air filter box, together with the intake sleeve, as shown in the video. At this point we remove the engine support on the distribution side and remove the V-belt; then we also disassemble the crankshaft pulley to proceed later with the disassembly and replacement of the timing belt.
