How to Replace the Key Shell on an Opel Insignia?

To replace the key shell on an Opel Insignia, press the button to release the key blade and lever it out of its housing to open the remote. This will allow you to pull out the key blade and also the chip contained within the remote. At this point, open the new key shell and place the chip inside. After securing the key blade, close the new key shell and insert the battery. After replacing all components, check the proper functioning of the remote.
