Replacing the Oil Filter and Engine Oil on a 2016 Opel Mokka

The video shows how to replace the oil filter and engine oil on a 2016 Opel Mokka 1.6 CTDI. Lift the car with a jack and remove the lower cover of the oil sump after loosening the bolts with a socket spanner. Unscrew the drain plug with a socket spanner and let the used oil drain into an external container. Unscrew the oil filter with a 24mm socket spanner to allow the oil to drain out. Screw on the new filter after lubricating the seal, tightening it to a torque of 25 Nm. Apply silicone around the filter plug. Also, replace the oil drain plug. Refit the lower cover of the oil sump. Open the filler cap and pour in the recommended oil, checking the level with the dipstick.
