Cleaning the Boost Pressure Sensor

Open the front bonnet and remove the plastic cover at the top of the engine; the sensor in question is located on the intake manifold, in front of the diesel filter: it is essentially a rectangular plastic component secured with a screw and connected to a plug. Disconnect the plug, unscrew the fixing pin, and pull it out of its housing by simply pulling it backwards (it is secured by pressure through an O-ring). Once the sensor is removed, it may be contaminated with oil residues: use electrical contact spray to clean it and proceed in reverse for installation.
