Replacing the Engine Oil on the Opel Corsa 1.2 Petrol

This video outlines the procedure to follow, accompanied by verbal description, for replacing the engine oil and oil filter. First, lift the car, preferably using axle stands, to facilitate the work. Position a container under the engine and unscrew the oil drain plug using a ratchet and a 45 mm socket. After draining all the used oil, proceed to remove the oil filter, again using a ratchet with an extension and a 24 mm socket, removing the filter and the seal from its seat. Now, you can install the new filter and the new seal, lubricating the latter for better adherence. Finally, after tightening the oil drain plug, pour the first three litres of new oil into the engine and start the engine for a few seconds to check the level. If it is insufficient, add an additional litre of oil and check the level again. If the oil quantity is okay, the job can be considered complete.
