Replacing Cylinder Head Fastening Bolts

Model: Vauxhall Corsa Corsa B - Years 1993-2000
Part: Engine

Before fitting the cylinder head and new fastening bolts, use a thread gauge to check the thread pitch and select the correct tap to re-thread the fastening holes: take great care during this operation to avoid debris entering the cylinders. Once this is complete, position the new cylinder head gasket, then fit the cylinder head using the new bolt kit, to which sealing paste should be applied under the head and on the thread base. Tighten the bolts in a cross pattern using both a torque wrench and an angle gauge.

How to Replace the Reverse Light Switch on a Suzuki Jimny

If the reverse light in the rear lamps does not illuminate when engaging reverse and the bulbs are functioning, the switch, also known as the bulb due to its shape, may be damaged. This switch is located on the gearbox; there is enough space to manoeuvre in the engine bay. Start by disconnecting the connector found on the left side of the engine bay when viewed from the front, near the cabin radiator hoses. Then, move symmetrically to the other side of the gearbox where the bulb is located. Take care with the O-ring seal during installation.
