Changing the engine oil in your car is a relatively simple procedure. Specific tools and careful attention are required to proceed correctly. Insert the trolley jack and lift the car to achieve the right height for placing the oil collection tray. Using a socket wrench, unscrew the sump plug, taking care to pour the liquid into the tray. Once you confirm that no more oil is coming from the sump, you can refit the plug, remove the old filter, and clean the surface with a cloth.
