How to Replace the Timing Belt on an Opel Meriva 1.7 CDTi?

To replace the timing belt on the Opel Meriva, lift the car to remove the front wheel and the inner cover of the wheel arch. Next, open the bonnet and remove some obstructing parts located to the left of the engine block, such as the air filter box. This will allow you to remove the engine block cover, so you can loosen the bolts of the pulleys, particularly the tensioner roller, accessing from underneath. The old belt can then be removed and replaced with a new spare part.
