To replace the head gasket on an Opel Insignia, you need to open the bonnet to gain access to the components inside the engine bay: it will be necessary to detach the plastic cover from the top of the engine block to access the screws that secure the valve cover.

This can be removed after loosening all the screws, allowing access to the engine head: at this point, by also detaching the head, you can extract the corresponding gasket, replacing it with a new spare part and reassembling all previously removed components.
