How to change the oil and filter in the Opel Frontera 2.2?

Changing the engine oil is easier if you open the oil cap before the sump, allowing air pressure to help drain the fluid out. First, open this cap, then lift the vehicle and remove the protective panel. Locate the oil sump, position a suitable container underneath to collect the fluid, and unscrew the securing bolt. Close it as soon as the oil has stopped draining. Now, for the filter: unscrew the cap, remove the seals and cartridge, and replace everything with new components before closing it up. Finally, add the new oil.
