Replacement of Front Headlight Bulb

Model: Vauxhall Astra Astra G - Years 1998-2006

Replacing the front headlight bulb is quite simple as there is enough space in the engine bay to reach in and detach the bulb holder. Grip the bulb holder and rotate it about 90 degrees counter-clockwise to detach it from the headlight, pull out the original bulb, then insert the new one (H7 type) aligning it with the three plastic notches and pushing it in fully. Then reposition the bulb holder in the headlight housing and ensure it clips in correctly. If there is a noticeable difference in brightness between the two when the headlights are turned on, replace the other bulb as well.
