Service, How to Replace Engine Oil and Oil Filter
Model: Vauxhall Astra
Astra H
- Years 2004-2010
The video shows us with the bonnet open, where the oil filter is screwed in. Once removed with the corresponding cap, replace the filter and carefully apply the O-ring as shown in the guide, then screw the cap containing the filter back into its housing; to tighten the filter securely, use a socket spanner and refit the upper cover. Now, let's move on to replacing the oil. Right next to the filter, you will find the engine oil filler cap; unscrew it and place a wide, low container under the car in line with the oil sump. Unscrew the cap screwed into the sump and let all the oil drain out. At this point, screw the sump cap back on and pour new oil into the filler neck, checking the level with the dipstick.

How to Remove the Front Brake Pads on a Chrysler PT Cruiser
To remove the front brake pads on a Chrysler PT Cruiser, position the car on a column lift and raise it to a comfortable height. Unscrew the pins using a socket wrench or air drill and remove the wheel. Then, use a screwdriver to detach the brake pads. Next, remove the caliper bracket and unscrew the pins on the brake disc (using a Torx screwdriver). Pull the disc towards you to slide it off the hub. Install the new brake disc with all associated pins, secure the caliper bracket to the disc and the pads, then mount the brake caliper, ensuring all pins are tightened properly. Before mounting the wheel, bleed the brake caliper and tighten the pin. by ScegliAuto More videos
