The common rail sensor communicates to the control unit the pressure inside the common rail, where there are very high pressures. The tube above the engine is the rail, from which the small tubes that go to the injectors come out. At the end of the tube, there is the pressure regulator, and on the other side, there is the pressure sensor. To change the sensor, the car must be cold. To proceed, we must loosen the yellow tab and pull. Then, using a 27mm wrench, we must unscrew the sensor. Remember to place a clean cloth because impurities must never enter the rail. The YouTuber sees some dirt that he manages to remove and then easily installs the new one by screwing it in by hand and then tightening it with the wrench. We reattach the yellow tab and start the engine. It takes a little while for the rail to fill up.
