Vauxhall Astra - Video tutorial
Model: Vauxhall Astra
Astra J
- Years 2009-2016 In this video, we can see where the EGR valve is located in the Opel Astra and how to proceed in case we need to remove it. As shown, the valve in question is positioned on the left side of the engine, to our right when looking at the vehicle from the front. To remove it, we first open the hood and wait for the engine to cool completely, then we remove the upper plastic cover and, using a socket wrench, we unscrew both the fastening bolts of the manifold and those of the valve itself. Once this is done, we separate the valve from the engine and follow the reverse procedure to install the replacement if necessary.

Frequently Asked QuestionsHow to open the bonnet of the Volkswagen PoloLet's see in this short and simple guide the instructions that will allow us to open the bonnet of the Volkswagen Polo. First of all we open the front door, on the driver's side, and start pulling the opening lever of the engine hood, in order to open the lock; then let's move to the front of the vehicle and unhook the tab that we find on the central part, above the manufacturer's emblem, as shown in the video. At this point we block the bonnet with the lateral rod; then we accompany the bonnet down to close it again! by ScegliAuto More videos
