Where is the EGR valve located in the Opel Astra?

In this video, you can see where the EGR valve is located in the Opel Astra and how to proceed if you need to remove it. As shown, the valve is positioned on the left side of the engine, to your right when looking at the vehicle from the front. To remove it, first open the bonnet and wait for the engine to be completely cool, then remove the upper plastic cover and, using a socket spanner, undo both the bolts securing the manifold and those of the valve itself. Once this is done, separate the valve from the engine and follow the reverse procedure to fit the replacement part.
