Operation: How to remove and replace the EGR valve of an Opel Astra

Let's see how to remove and replace the EGR valve of an Opel Astra. We open and lift up the front hood (where the engine is), we secure the same. We remove the soundproofing panel of the engine, then, unscrew the locking pins of the EGR valve and disconnect the power supply terminal (let's extract it from the engine compartment). We insert the new EGR valve in the dedicated housing (making it adhere well around the metal walls) and tighten the locking pins of the same. Finally we reassemble the soundproofing panel. We close the engine compartment after maintenance.
