How to Remove and Replace the EGR Valve on an Opel Astra

See how to remove and replace the EGR valve on an Opel Astra. Open and lift the front bonnet (where the engine is located), securing it. Remove the engine soundproofing panel, then unscrew the securing bolts of the EGR valve and disconnect the power connector (extract it from the engine compartment). Insert the new EGR valve into the dedicated housing (ensuring it fits snugly around the metal edges) and tighten the securing bolts. Finally, refit the soundproofing panel. Close the engine compartment at the end of maintenance.
