This guide will show you the procedure to reset the engine warning light on an Opel Astra; you must have resolved the issue that caused the light to come on in order to reset it. So, get in the vehicle and turn on the ignition; then press and hold the brake pedal until the engine light starts to flash a couple of times, as shown in the video.

This way, the ECU will check if the problem is still present or if it has been resolved; in the latter case, it will reset from the instrument panel!

How to Remove the Toll Tag Holder from the Car Windscreen
