Resetting the Engine Warning Light on an Opel Astra

This guide will show you the procedure to reset the engine warning light on an Opel Astra; you must have resolved the issue that caused the light to come on in order to reset it. So, get in the vehicle and turn on the ignition; then press and hold the brake pedal until the engine light starts to flash a couple of times, as shown in the video. This way, the ECU will check if the problem is still present or if it has been resolved; in the latter case, it will reset from the instrument panel!

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?

To check the oil level on a Jeep Renegade, you need to open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: on the lower left side of the engine block, you will find the dipstick for checking the level. This should be pulled out and thoroughly cleaned with a cloth: once cleaned, reinsert it back into its tube and pull it out immediately after. This way, you can check that the oil mark is between the minimum and maximum levels; finally, you can place the dipstick back in its tube.
