How to Remove the Water Pump from the Opel Corsa

Model: Vauxhall Corsa Corsa D - Years 2006-2014

Remove the cover between the engine and the bodywork to access the side of the engine where the pump is located. Now you need to remove the belt; to do this, loosen the bolts on the upper pulley, which is fitted to the pump's impeller, and adjust the tensioner to relieve the tension on the belt so you can remove it. Now you can completely remove the upper pulley.
Start disconnecting all the hoses and connectors attached to the pump, keeping track of each hose's position at each inlet/outlet of the pump, and marking them if necessary. After freeing it from all connected components, begin unscrewing the 9 bolts that secure it to the engine. Remove the old pump, ensuring to replace the gasket if the old one is questionable, and correctly position the new pump for re-bolting. Retrace the steps in reverse.
