In this video, learn how to disable (and consequently enable) the passenger airbag on an Opel Astra K. This operation is necessary if you need to transport a small child in the front seat: regulations require that the airbag be disabled in this case, as the active device could seriously injure the child in the event of an accident.

Also, remember to position the child seat facing the rear.

Now, let’s proceed. On the passenger side, with the ignition key in hand, go to the outer edge of the dashboard: Here, you will find the passenger airbag switch set to "ON". Use the key to turn it to "OFF", and remember to return it to its original position when removing the child seat.
