Where is the camshaft sensor located in the Opel Astra?

This video shows where the camshaft sensor is located in the Opel Astra and how to proceed if you need to replace it, a very simple and quick operation. As shown, the sensor is positioned at the upper right area of the engine when looking at the vehicle from the front, just above the timing belt. To remove and subsequently replace it, simply disconnect the power connector, undo the single fixing bolt, and pull it out of the housing. Ensure that you work with the engine completely cold.
