Where is the crankshaft position sensor located in the Opel Astra 1.7 CDTI?

In this video we can see where the crankshaft position sensor is located in the Opel Astra, useful in case we need to replace it for example due to a malfunction. As shown, the sensor in question is located in the rear area of the engine, right behind the starter motor. To access it and then remove it, make sure first of all that the engine is cold, then go underneath the compartment and locate the black connector, which must be disconnected. Then unscrew the single fixing bolt, remove the sensor and install the replacement.
