To change the language of the system on an Opel Astra, it is a fairly simple operation; you can perform this procedure with just the instrument panel on or with the engine running. Enter the main screen of the infotainment system (display in the centre of the dashboard), click the icon labelled "settings", find the "language" option, click it, and a list of languages will appear.

To set the language suitable for your country, scroll down or up until you find the correct language: at that point, click on the language to set it, and the language will be changed. You can now return to the main screen using the button on the left with the house symbol.
