Cleaning of the MAP sensor of the Peugeot 206

In order to clean the MAP sensor of the Peugeot 206, we open the hood of the engine compartment, disconnect the negative battery terminal. We disconnect the three connections of the vent tube and move it aside, disconnect the electrical connector of the MAP sensor, with an 8 mm socket wrench equipped with an extension, unscrew the bolt that secures the sensor to the tube, remove it and place it on a work surface, spray a specific cleaning spray on the sensor and let it dry well. Insert the sensor into its seat, secure it with the bolt, reattach the vent tube and connect the negative terminal to the battery.
