How to maintain the cooling system of the Peugeot 206

In this video we see how to perform maintenance on the cooling system of the Peugeot 206: we open the hood and the cap of the coolant expansion tank, then we place a large basin under the outlet of the coolant drain, then we loosen the clamp and let the coolant flow out. To facilitate drainage, we loosen the vent hose from its position, remove the air filter and open the drain cap, on the left side of the cylinder head. When all the coolant has drained out, we put the hose and clamp back under the car (or close the cap), place absorbent rags inside the engine, under the drain points and fill the coolant expansion tank with a 50% mixture of coolant and demineralized water. When coolant comes out of the drain points without bubbles, we reassemble the drain screw and reconnect the electrical connector; fill the container to its maximum level and then put the air filter and its piping back in place. Start the engine and let it run at idle until the fan has turned on and off twice. Turn off the engine and let it cool down: check the coolant level again, and if necessary, top up again.
