How to remove the airbag from the Peugeot 5008 and Peugeot 3008

Today we will explain how to remove the steering wheel airbag on Peugeot 5008 and Peugeot 3008 vehicles. To perform the removal, we need to turn the steering wheel vertically and insert a flat-tip screwdriver into the hole. Using the screwdriver, push the internal lever to remove the central body. After disconnecting the connector, the airbag will be removed and deactivated. After removing the airbag, it is possible to remove the steering wheel if necessary. To install the airbag, simply connect the central body with the connector and push the body to attach it to the steering wheel. Before performing the operation, it is recommended to disconnect the main battery.
