This guide will explain how to deactivate the passenger airbag in Peugeot vehicles. This operation is necessary when you need to place a child seat on the front right seat.

Taking the Peugeot 5008 as an example, to deactivate the airbag, open the glove compartment and insert the metal key located inside the remote control. To extract the metal emergency key, press the button on the top and pull out the key. By inserting and turning the key to the right, you will deactivate the system; performing the same operation to the left will reactivate the system.
