How to activate or deactivate Cruise Control on the Peugeot 308 MK2

Let's see how to activate or deactivate the cruise control on the Peugeot 308 MK2: the control is located on a dedicated lever behind the steering wheel, on the left side. We will activate the system by pressing the ON/OFF button on the lever. A white light will appear on the instrument panel, indicating that the system is on and ready to use, but not yet active in maintaining speed. Once the desired speed is reached, by pressing the accelerator, we press the "set" button. At this point, the light on the dashboard will turn green and the car will automatically maintain the set speed; we can take our foot off the accelerator. To temporarily suspend the cruise control, we can press the brake pedal or the clutch pedal: the light will turn white and the car will respond to the accelerator again. To reactivate the previous speed, simply press the "RES" button (each press increases the speed by 1km/h). Holding down the button will gradually increase the speed. The same goes for decreasing it by holding down the "SET-" button. To turn off completely, press the "ON/OFF" button.
