Below are the instructions that will allow you to activate and deactivate the electric handbrake on a Peugeot 3008. When the vehicle is turned off, the handbrake usually engages automatically if you are in P mode (with the automatic gearbox); to deactivate the handbrake, simply press the button down while engaging a gear. To engage the electric handbrake, lift the button, still in parking mode; engaging a gear and pressing the accelerator will automatically deactivate the handbrake.
