How to replace the original air filter with a sports one on a Peugeot 208? Let's see how to disassemble the piece placed in the engine compartment. We open the car door, pull up the engine compartment opening lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard and lift up the front hood. We remove the soundproofing panel of the engine (as in the video); we open the air kit (unscrew the screws), uncover the cap of the box and extract the worn filter. We remove the filter container and mount the new sports filter in the dedicated housing (making it adhere well around the intake pipe). We close the front hood at the end of the maintenance.
